A market hall tailored to the needs of the city is to be built on a plot of land in the centre of Heilbronn. Heilbronn is a very young, diverse city with different cultures and therefore also different eating habits.
The curved shape is the result of two urban axes that intersect on the site. The embracing gestures create square situations to which the market hall can open up through a large openable façade.
The market hall is planned as a place of encounter and community. Large communal tables invite people to eat fresh food together.
As the market hall was developed in the constructive design class, constructive focal points such as the drainage of the low point of the roof construction had to be clarified.
